Pinnacle Pocket

Established in 2006, Pinnacle Pocket Stud was the first registered Senepol stud in the coastal tropics and remains the only registered Senepol stud in North Queensland. Located near Malanda, west of Cairns, we breed fertile Senepol and Senepol composite cattle, including SeneBlack, Senegus and Senepol-Droughtmaster crosses. Operating in a high-rainfall environment, we apply strong selection pressure for fertility and insect resistance while following commercial best-practice management. Breeding priorities include polledness, sheath, testicle development, slick coat, fertility, temperament and structural soundness. Our bulls are paddock-raised, not sale-fed, reducing buyer costs, and all cattle are backed by a fertility guarantee.

Planchonella Hills Senepols

Planchonella Hills Senepols was established in 2002 using embryos sourced from some of the top herds in the U.S. and semen also from the U.S. The word “Planchonella” refers to a rare tree, the Western Black Plum that is native to our area. We chose Senepols as a breed because of their heat tolerance, excellent carcase traits, temperament, fertility and ‘unrelatedness’ to 97% of cattle in Australia.

Jindavick Senepol Cattle   S 

Jindavick Senepol Cattle are located in the S.E Qld. We have been here breeding cattle for the last 40 years ! The Senepols love the hot summers but they aren’t too happy with the cold winters we get, luckily they don’t last very long. Having the slick coats makes cattle tick and buffalo fly treatment a breeze. Our cattle are renowned for their temperament and fertility, last year, which was a terribly dry year we achieved over 80% calving with all calvers calving in a two month period.

Southern Star Rural

Southern Star Rural is a Senepol Cattle Stud in Canowindra, NSW.Clayton and Sarah Maynard purchased “Jonaron” in 2010 and saw a niche in the Southern Australian market for the breeding of Senepol and Senepol/Angus (Senegus) cattle.
